Test paddling in the dark

Trent Victor is testing the Allwave CX and is comparing it to his Fenn Elite. We went out just before sunset for some test paddling. It was a beautiful evening and it was fun comparing the surfskis. The sun sets rapidly at this time of the year. We are not used to it yet. I still think we have long bright summer nights, but that is not the fact any longer. All of a sudden it was getting really dark and we didn’t brought any lantern or head lamp with us. It wasn’t any problem navigating or paddling but the ferries in the archipelago would have problems spotting us. We didn’t want to worry them so we headed back home to the paddling club to avoid getting into trouble.
