Sweden christmas paddling

Santa is coming!

Global warming is making it warmer in Sweden. Santa has gone 2.0 and dropped Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. He let the surfski gnomes do the hard work instead.

We have had almost perfect conditions for downwind paddling for two weeks now. Winds from south, approx 20-30 kn, and it’s very mild this year (+7 C air +4 C in water). To bad it so darn dark during christmas. The sun rises at 8.55 am and it sets at 3.27 pm. Last saturday we were some gnomes who went for a really nice downwind at the Kungsbacka Fjord south of Göteborg, Sweden. A 9 km downwind course, 13 m/s (25 kn). Video by Trent Victor.

Merry Christmas
